What We Perform
Surgical Procedures
Our surgery center handles a full range of dermatologic procedures — from complex cancer removal to minor skin surgeries.
Mohs Micrographic Surgery
The gold standard for high-risk skin cancers. Layers of skin are removed and examined in real time until all cancerous cells are cleared — maximizing cure rates while preserving healthy tissue.
Learn more →Surgical Excisions
Removal of malignant and benign lesions with careful margin control. Used for melanoma, atypical moles, cysts, lipomas, and other growths requiring surgical removal and closure.
Skin Biopsies
Shave, punch, and excisional biopsies for accurate diagnosis. When a lesion looks suspicious, we collect tissue for pathology and have results back quickly to guide next steps.
Reconstructive Repair
After tumor removal, our surgeons plan closures to minimize scarring — using local flaps, grafts, or layered repair techniques tailored to each patient's anatomy and wound location.
Electrosurgery & Curettage
A fast, effective approach for certain basal cell carcinomas and benign growths. The lesion is scraped and the base treated with electrical current — often same-day, with minimal recovery.
Nail & Cyst Procedures
Ingrown nail removal, nail matrix biopsies, and cyst excisions performed in-office under local anesthesia. Quick procedures with clear aftercare instructions and follow-up support.
The Process
What to Expect
- 1
Consultation & Diagnosis
Your provider evaluates the lesion, reviews your history, and recommends the appropriate surgical approach. Most consultations happen at a regular clinic visit — no separate scheduling needed.
- 2
Procedure Day
Most procedures are performed under local anesthesia in our on-site surgery suite. You'll be awake and comfortable. Mohs surgery may take several hours as layers are processed; most other procedures take under an hour.
- 3
Recovery & Follow-Up
You'll leave with written wound care instructions and a scheduled follow-up to check healing and review pathology results. Our team is reachable by phone if questions come up between visits.
Our lead surgeons bring decades of specialized dermatologic surgery training.
Mohs surgery achieves the highest cure rates of any skin cancer treatment approach.
On-site histology means results — and closure — happen during your appointment.
