Margit Juhasz, MD, FAAD

Dr. Juhasz is a dual board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon with fellowship training spanning micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, cosmetics, hair diseases, and inflammatory skin disorders. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai — where she received the Mount Sinai Scholars as Leaders Merit Scholarship — then served as Chief Resident of Surgery and Research during her dermatology residency at UC Irvine. Her fellowship was completed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles.

Nationally recognized as a "Rising Derm Star," Dr. Juhasz has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications with more than 1,600 citations. She has received the La Fondation La Roche-Posay Grant for alopecia areata microbiome research and multiple pharmaceutical grants for investigator-initiated studies. She is a regular speaker at national and international conferences on alopecia therapies, cosmetic procedures, and melanoma treatment.

Outside medicine, she enjoys travel, piano, and exploring cookbooks with her family.
